Fairfood wishes to establish reasonable and reliable partnerships with brand owners in order to achieve results that help to increase product sustainability. Therefore, Fairfood will approach brand owners in a positive and constructive way, with meaningful dialogues and useful solutions, so as to ensure a successful lobbying result.

Lobbying Approach

If the lobbying approach produces positive results, Fairfood encourages brand owners to use the Fairfood label in their communication strategy and tools. However, when brand owners are unwilling to work within this framework and are ultimately not willing to increase the sustainability level of their products, Fairfood may use leverages such as consumers, citizens, employees, shareholders, politicians and other NGOs to build up more pressure or seek media attention.
