The Millennium  Development Goals

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight international development goals that 192 United Nations member states and at least 23 international organisations have agreed to achieve. By the year 2015 there must be a decline in world poverty, disease and hunger.  The world on your plate is concerned with MDGs 1, 7 and 8; cut hunger and poverty in half, take better care of the environment and stimulate fair trade.

What can you do? 

Hunger and poverty in developing countries are related to western consumption. Fairfood believes that you, as a member of the globalized world, have the power to change how and in what way your food is being produced.
