Soy campaign

Soy is processed in a great deal of supermarket products. A very simple example is soy sauce but soy is also used in the production of eggs, milk, chicken and meat. The majority (roughly 66%) of the global production of soybeans goes into cattle feed. Unfortunately, the large-scale cultivation of soybeans, especially in South America, has caused the disappearance of hundreds of square kilometres of tropical forest each year. Coco campaign

Research shows that children in the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon work under dangerous and unhealthy conditions. These children often work with long knives and are even exposed to pesticides. This is why Fairfood, together with Stop The Traffic, calls chocolate makers to be more open about their production process and show that they adhere to international agreements on child labour.
