Fairfood would like to enable consumers to choose for fair food and beverage products. To this end, Fairfood compares the fairness of brand products by means of a questionnaire, The Product Fairness Questionnaire (PFQ). The aim of Fairfood’s annual Product Fairness survey is to enable consumers to make an informed choice about the food and beverages they buy.  This is the third year that Fairfood has conducted the Product Fairness survey.

 

All of the questions are based on international Model Standards of Conduct and inquire after the achievements on (increasing) social, ecological, and economical sustainability in the food chain. Fairfood will publish the results of this survey in June 2008.

Additionally, on the left margin you will find a set of useful blueprints developed by Fairfood with the objective of assisting companies that have a certain sustainability label to evaluate the level of the sustainability of their products.  

 

On the left margin you will also find a model questionnaire filled out by “The Good Papaya Company”, an imaginary company, which can be used as a reference for purposes of filling out The Product Fairness Questionnaire 2008.
