Project Assistant Resellers

Campaign & Lobby
The Campaign & Lobby department is responsible for selling the Fairfood message to four different target groups: food and beverage brand owners; food and beverage resellers (like restaurants or caterers); politicians and consumers in the Netherlands as well as abroad. Furthermore, the Campaign & Lobby department is responsible for strengthening Fairfood's base. These projects are led by five paid project leaders, each with the help of two to four unpaid project assistants.

What are the responsibilities of the Project Assistant Resellers?
Fairfood’s goal is to put their assessment on fair and unfair products highly on the Dutch public agenda and to enlarge this process in the years to come. The Project Resellers is an important method to achieve this. The project’s main objective is to focus on caterers, company caterers, restaurants, schools and associations and to persuade them to offer a fair selection of products to their guests and clients. By approaching these specific target groups Fairfood will give the public a chance to eat fair.

Qualifications

• HBO (higher education)/University degree
• Knowledge of the food and beverage industry is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written skills in Dutch (and English)
• Able to work well both independently and within a team
• Affinity with Fairfood’s goals
• Knowledge of corporate sustainability is a plus
