Corporate responsibility in sustainable production

Fairfood International encourages food and beverage brand owners all over the world to increase the level of sustainability of their brand products. More sustainable food production benefits people, planet and profit. To resolve poverty and hunger, the production and trade of food and beverage products will need to become more sustainable. 


Responsibility
Companies are responsible for their products. Your impact as a brand owner on sustainability is crucial; increasing the sustainability of your brand products starts with your decision to do so. Fairfood encourages you to start making your products more sustainable or increase the pace in which you are doing this already. A lot of brand owners in the food and beverage industry are already working on sustainability. If this is the case for your products, let us know. We applaud ambitious initiatives, but take a critical approach on brand products that show too little progress in sustainability.
