| The Lobby department The Lobby department is responsible for encouraging 1.000 brand owners in over 60 countries to increase the level of sustainability of their products. One team of lobbyists is based in the Netherlands, one in Berlin and teams are being set up in London and Paris. The work of the lobbyists is to be in contact with the brand owners and to do all necessary work behind the scenes that is needed to encourage the brand owners make their products more sustainable. |

| The Communications department The Communications department informs the various target groups. The department is split up into six different projects based on discipline. These projects are closely related to other projects of the organization which need some form of media or campaign to be created. |

| The Research department The Research department acquires information about sectors, fairness criteria and the fairness of brand products. In this process, the department collaborates with experts from developed and developing countries. It also provides the political and logical foundations of the projects of other departments. The Research department functions as the conscience of Fairfood. |

| The Fundraising department The Fundraising department acquires funds from governments, trusts, companies and the general public. This department’s main responsibility is dealing with financial requests for all projects, as well as for financing of the organization, sponsoring, and donors. The Fundraising department maintains contacts with financiers and takes care of various end reports. |

| The Operations department The Operations department is a service department responsible for Human Resources, Supporters, ICT, Finance and Quality Assurance. Fairfood works with paid and unpaid employees, who have equal responsibilities. Fairfood works with successful HR and Backoffice concepts from the corporate world to become a passionate and professional organization aimed at having a recognizable impact. |
