CARER Malawi

Center for Advise, Research, Education and Rights (CARER)

CARER Malawi was established in 1995 with the aim to ensure that human rights are promoted and respected at all levels of society, and especially in the rural areas. The Center helps Malawians by empowering and enabling them to know, claim and defend their rights through civic education, monitoring, advocacy, legal advice and representation.
The joint objective of the partnership between Farfood and CARER Malawi is to develop and share knowledge on human rights, (labour) issues and good practices in food production chains, inclusive tea, coffee and sugar.
