Cordaid is a Dutch development organisation with over ninety years of experience and expertise. Cordaid is one of the biggest international development organisations with a network of almost a thousand partner organisations in 36 countries in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America. Cordaid is committed to eradicate poverty, believes in human dignity and has respect for mutual difference. Cordaid believes in the power of the people and supports them so that the people themselves can realise a better future.

Cordaid focuses on various themes, including emergency relief, poverty eradication, building society and influencing policy. Cordaid strives for structural change. For this reason it is necessary to realise change in various areas. Often various actors of society are involved in poverty. Of importance are the political culture, the business world and the cultural identity of society. This is why Cordaid always works, within the projects, on various different levels.
