FARN
The Environment and Natural Resources Foundation (FARN) is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Created in 1985, it is a non-governmental, not-for-profit and non-partisan organization whose principal objective is to promote sustainable development through policy, law and the institutional organization of society. Among other things, FARN works to generate knowledge and independent analysis on different aspects of environmental sustainability and governance, foster multi-sectoral debate and build consensus, train community leaders and public officials, promote access to information and citizen participation in decision-making process and defend the environmental rights of the poor.
