ICCO

A world without poverty and injustice – that is ICCO’s mission. ICCO, the inter-church organisation for development cooperation, considers it important to join forces. For this reason, there has been a close collaboration with Fairfood since 2001.
Global support

ICCO gives global financial support and advice to local organisations and networks that work for better access to basic facilities, initiating sustainable economical development and enhancing peace and democracy. It also brings together enterprising people in the Netherlands and in developing countries.

ICCO works together closely with businesses and with civil society organisations, such as development and educational organisations. In this way, ICCO seeks to improve living conditions for people in Latin America, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe and help them be economically independent.
Alliance

To build on its strengths, ICCO formed the ICCO Alliance together with Edukans, Kerk in Actie, Oikocredit, Prisma, and Share People. In addition, ICCO collaborates with several other partners in the Netherlands, Europe and worldwide. In the Netherlands, ICCO sets up campaigns together. ICCO also works with various companies such as Eneco and Ahold and civil society organisations such as Max Havelaar, Fairfood and CNV. Furthermore, ICCO tries to actively encourage young people to become involved in development cooperation. Enterprising private persons may turn to Impulsis, the leading desk for development cooperation, for advice and support.
