Participatory Research Organization of Communities and Education towards Struggle for Self-reliance (PROCESS) – Philippines

Participatory Research Organization of Communities and Education towards Struggle for Self-reliance (PROCESS) is a non-profit organization established on October 2, 1982 in Manila, Philippines. Its aim is to support the formation and strengthening of people’s organizations from the fisherfolk, women, urban poor and farming sectors in the Visayas regions. It is also a duly certified NGO by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) for excellence in local governance and housekeeping.

PROCESS is actively involved with helping grassroots organisations, marginalized communities and producers engaged in food and non-food products to be empowered towards effective and sustainable management of resources and the promotion of a just and gender-sensitive environment.

Fairfood International and PROCESS will use collaborative efforts in knowledge, research and information sharing to strive towards the well-being of small producers and other marginalized people in food and beverage companies’ production and supply chains in the Philippines.
